Blacksburg Refugee Partnership

Generous community partners sustain Blacksburg Refugee Partnership’s work for the long haul.

Blacksburg Refugee Partnership can help refugee families in the New River Valley and Roanoke for years, not just weeks, because our supporters unstintingly donate their time and money. We’re especially indebted to organizational partners, including our major benefactor, The Secular Society. Because of this organization’s continued financial support, BRP has been able to care for five single mothers and their children from Afghanistan, Somalia, and Burundi. In fall 2021, the Secular Society introduced the TSS Scholars Program. This is a new college scholarship that will fully fund higher education for seven female refugees.
